Lisa Oberlee

You have chosen to meet with Lisa Oberlee, a Masters level intern. She graduated from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology with a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology in 2025. She has experience working with young adults, postpartum women, families of medically complex children and medical professionals. Her previous experiences in non-profit work with youth and families whose babies were in the NICU. These experiences have significantly influenced her therapeutic approach, enabling her to offer genuine empathy and insight to clients facing complex emotional challenges.

Lisa’s psychological training is rooted in relational (psychodynamic), emotionally-focused therapy, attachment theory, and neuroscience. She is interested in working with individuals and couples navigating depression, anxiety, stress management, caretaking for medically complex family members, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, life transitions, compassion fatigue, faith and spirituality, embodiment issues, and grief. Lisa is committed to helping clients develop a healthier relationship with food and growth in body acceptance.

Harville Hendrix says, “We are wounded in relationship, and we can be healed in relationship”. Lisa strongly believes in the transforming power of a safe, supportive relationship where clients can grow in self-compassion and awareness.
