Fil Beth Davis, Family Nurse Practitioner

Family Nurse Practitioner Fil Beth G. Davis is a compassionate and dedicated professional; it is a privilege to care for all her patients and their families alike. She enjoys establishing rapport with them and being a part of their lives. Her goal is to help them live healthier lives through health promotion, health prevention, and providing resources. She looks forward to working with residents of Anchorage and surrounding areas. 

Career History 

Fil Beth is joining her new Ohana at Cornerstone Medical Clinic from the island of O’ahu where she established a strong foundation in family practice. She also served as a primary health care provider for homebound patients requiring health care in the home setting. Since high school, Fil Beth has worked in the healthcare field. Working as a private caregiver with the elderly allowed her to mature at an early age and learn valuable interpersonal skills all before starting a degree in nursing. Following her degree completion, Fil Beth worked in a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) unit for 2.5 years and Progressive Coronary Care Unit (PCCU) for 2.5 years in INOVA Fairfax Medical Campus in Fairfax, Virginia. Her most recent bedside service was with the telemetry unit in Queens Medical Center in Ewa Beach, Hawaii.  

Education History 

Fil Beth earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing in 2017 through Simmons University in Boston, Massachusetts where she specialized in family nursing. In 2014 she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing through George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. Originally she began and completed Nursing at Northern Virginia Community College-Medical Campus in 2011 earning her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Nursing.

Certifications/Membership 

Fil Beth is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Alaska Nurse Practitioner Association.

Family Intro 

Fil Beth is accompanied by her husband and two pets; a dog named Spam and a cat named Shaka. Fil Beth enjoys hiking, traveling, and being by the water.
