Stephanie Richardson

Stephanie Richardson has worked with Alaskans to improve their mental health for the past 20 years.  She uses evidence-based interventions that are backed by research to show their effectiveness.  She also realizes that life is complicated, and many dynamics are often involved prior to considering mental health counseling.  Her goal is for the individuals she works with to feel cared for, to have less emotional distress…and more mental health.

Stephanie is licensed by the State of Alaska as a Professional Counselor.  She is also has a Temporary Psychologist license from the State to complete her post-doctoral internship at Cornerstone Counseling under the direct supervision of Dr. Suki Lewis. 

She has specialized training to treat the fear of traveling on airplanes (Aviophobia), Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, depression, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), relationship challenges, and psychological testing.
