Noel has lived in Alaska since 1982. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Seattle Pacific University in 1992 and her Master of Science in professional counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2018.
Noel has traveled all over the world, is also a fifth-degree black belt in taekwondo, and coached a swim team for three years. Noel has had extensive experience with children and teens and desires to help young people develop the skills they need to be successful adults.
She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, anger issues, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and trauma/dissociative disorders in young people and adults. When working with younger children, she utilizes play therapy. Her therapy style incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Solution Focused Therapy as well as Motivational Interviewing. Noel is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Therapy is tailored to the individual needs of the client.
