Mark Wegner

Mark joined Cornerstone Health Counseling in September of 2009.  Mark is recognized by most insurance companies and provides therapy for most mental health issues (anxiety, depression, etc.) to individuals.  Additionally, he provides therapy to couples, families, and adolescents. 

His special interests include faith/spiritual issues, grief and loss issues, crisis response and intervention, men’s issues, addictive behavior, and pastoral counseling.

Born and raised in Montana, he moved to Alaska in 1996 after receiving his counseling degree. 

He earned a Master of Science degree in Health and Human Development (marriage and family emphasis) from Montana State University in Bozeman, Montana.  In addition, he earned a Master of Divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri, and was ordained in 1982.   He has served as a parish pastor and a hospital chaplain.
