Toni Monahan, Ph. D. earned her Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology and History from University of Alaska, Anchorage in 2004, a Master’s of Science degree in General Psychology from Walden University in 2010, and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Walden University in 2021.
Miss Monahan counsels adolescents, adults, and couples suffering from a range of issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, and grief. Toni has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Gottman training, level one and two. Her approach is person-centered and focuses on healing the whole person (mind, body, and spirit).
Toni is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Alaska Psychological Association.
